Rivestimenti ad alta riflettanza solare
L’effetto “isola di calore” (Urban Heat Island - UHI) è un fenomeno meteorologico per cui le aree urbane tendono ad essere più calde delle aree rurali circostanti. Questa differenza di temperatura è causata principalmente da diversi fattori, tra cui l'aumento delle superfici artificiali (come edifici e strade) che assorbono e irradiano più calore rispetto alle aree verdi, le emissioni di calore da attività umane e l'effetto di trattenere il calore all'interno delle aree urbane.
Utilizzando vernici o membrane con rivestimenti ad alta riflettanza solare, si otterrà un minore riscaldamento dell’edificio e quindi un risparmio energetico per il condizionamento dell’aria.
Membrane autoadesive e termoadesive
I sistemi impermeabilizzanti che non prevedono l’uso della fiamma per l’applicazione, oltre a ridurre i costi e tempi di posa in opera, eliminano la produzione di fumi dovuti al riscaldamento della membrana e azzerano i rischi di incendio.
